Who is responsible

Type SB Ltd (company number 17291432), 49 Shelleycotes Road, Brixworth, NN6 9NE, United Kingdom, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact us about anything on this page at enquiries@typesb.com.

What we collect

Enquiries. If you contact us through the enquiry form or by email, we receive your name, email address, country and the content of your message.

Orders. If you buy a piece, we hold your name, email address, billing and delivery address, order details and edition number. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never seen or stored by Type SB.

Why we use it

To answer enquiries and to perform the contract when you place an order — processing payment, arranging delivery, providing certification and handling any warranty or return. We also keep order and transaction records to meet our legal accounting obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

Only the parties needed to fulfil your order: our payment processor (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd), our shipping carriers, and our accountants. Some of these may process data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses apply.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years. Order and transaction records are kept for seven years, as required by UK tax law. Edition ownership records are retained for the lifetime of the edition register so that provenance can be verified.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to operate it and, at checkout, those set by our payment processor to secure the transaction and prevent fraud. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
